260 days to the beginning of the 9th TeamGym ECh 2012. The countdown has begun and the Danish Gymnastics Federation are looking forward to welcoming more than 700 gymnasts and officials from all over Europe.
- We are very happy to host this event. The European Championships in TeamGym offers a great opportunity to show out fantastic sport to a great audience. We expect more than 5.000 spectators during the event, say Jytte Storm, Head of the Organising Commitee and Vicepresident in the Danish Gymnastics Federation.
Thursday the 18th of October the 9th TeamGym European Championships
will take place in NRGi Arena in Aarhus, Denmark.
Together with its key partners; the city of Aarhus and Sport Event Denmark; The Danish Gymnastics Federation will be hosting the event.
-We have great ambitions at presenting a high-class event at every level and we will do our very best to be the perfect host, says Event Manager Mads Elbrønd.
The Danish men and junior men team are reigning European champions, and the aim is to win at least two gold medals at the championships.
