The two Indonesian pairs Praveen Jordan/Debby Susanto and Markis Kido/Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth faced each other in Mixed Doubles in secound round of Li-Ning BWF World Championships.
The color of their t-shirts was different, but both Praveen Jordan/Debby Susanto and Markis Kido/Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth are a part of the Indonesian National Team. Tuesday afternoon they played against each other in Ballerup Super Arena, and it was the youngest constellation Praveen Jordan/Debby Susanto who triumphed. The winners are ranked 29 in the world and their victory was a bit surprising because of their opponents occupying the 9th place on the same list and also 8th seed in this year's tournament.
According to Debby Susanto it is an advantage to play against compatriots.
- When we play against compatriots, we feel more confident than usual, and I really think it is an advantage, tells Debby Susanto.
