The participants for the Women’s Double final at Li Ning BWF World Championships are found. The finalist will be compatriots Tian Qing/Zhao Yunlei against Wang Xiaoli/Yu Yang from China.
In the first match Saturday in Ballerup the 5seed Tian Qing/Zhao Yunlei qualified for the finals after a win against Lee So Hee/Shin Seung Chan from South Korea. The Chinese couple was convincing in every moment of the match, and the result 21-13, 21-10 reveals their dominance.
Opponents for the final will be compatriots Wang Xiaoli/Yu Yang. In their semifinal they faced Reika Kakiiwa/Miuki Maeda from Japan, and their win was just as superior as their Chinese compratiots. The Japanese was beaten 21-8, 21-13. After the loss of the 1st seed Chinese pair in first round, the other Chinese pairs have increased their level.
A look at the previosly matches show that Wang Xiaoli/Yu Yang is in the lead with the record 9-3. The players know each other very well, and actually they have been a part of the same constellation earlier in their careers.
